Live search highlights all the occurrences when I paste or start typing in the 
live search box. I'm not sure why you need to paste and delete a character?

I've found Live Search so useful that I've remapped Live Search to Command+F, 
with the more powerful Find/Replace mapped to Command+Option+F.
