I have some files labeled "Gray" in OS X 10.8.5 which I don't want to see listed in my Project file list panel.
Creating a new label based filter is not storing the color selection for me though. How can I get the selected color to be saved when the edit panel closes? Specific steps... After clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of a Projects file list panel and selecting Manage Filters, in the Setup: Filters window I click on the plus symbol at the bottom to create a new filter (I haven't create any other filters previously). In the filter edit panel that opens I enter a name for the filter in the top text field such as "Exclude Gray Files", if the left pulldown I select "Label", in the middle pulldown I select "is not", and for the right pulldown I select "Gray" and click OK. The edit panel closes and if I double-click on the filter name I created to view it's settings the right pulldown no longer has "Gray" selected but instead is using "None". I'm using BBEdit version 10.5.5 (3310) Thanks, DAN -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
