I read your page on github and still don't understand what a package is. (I
assume it has nothing to do with what Mac OSX calls a "package".) I do,
however, use plugins for various software, so maybe it's something like
that?

What's your recommendation for the best online introduction to the concept
of "packages" as you're using the term? By *introduction* I mean for
someone with no knowledge of this. Thanks.
