Since last weekend I'm a new BBEdit user. I've already configured it to my
needs, checked out most functions, and use it for editing a large
project... so some questions came up. Hope, you can help:
- How do I position the cursor at a certain *column* ("Line Number" for
columns so to say)?
- Is there a "duplicate line" command?
- Can I convince BB to output the paragraph tag <p> and its content in a
single row instead of three rows?
- Can "Educate quote" create typographically valid and localized quotes?
("x" should become „x“ in German, and not “x”, as it is)
- Can I make BBEdit show folders first in the project tree?
- What for would you use "Exchange Characters"? (Just curious because I
never felt a demand for that)
