Great thread. I've been trying to simplify my workflow with text docs also. But I also want to sync it so I can view these files on iDevices when needed. Right now I'm trying out Simplenote for iPhone and iPad. It doesn't preview md files but they are still readable. I used nValt for several months but it crashed more than I was comfortable with. I think I'll give BBEdit another shot for md and plain text files. *'Smacks self for not putting them in a project'*
