Like you, I've used personal computers for a day or two. :) My first home computer was a CP/M machine that used the 8.3 filename format, so, yes, I'm familiar with '.txt'. No argument that the '.txt' extension is the standard; that said, this is 2015, not the 1970s and I'd like to use '.text', so my question remains… My hunch is that you're correct, setting a language type that uses '.text' may be what I'm looking for. Is that the way to go?
