Hi Armin,

If you never want BBEdit to reopen files on launch, go to the Application
section of BBEdit's Preferences, and uncheck "Reopen documents that were
open at last quit".

If you just want to restart it without reopening documents this one time,
hold down cmd-ctrl-shift while launching BBEdit. (Page 40 of the fine
manual has details...there are more granular options for this.)

But it also would be a good idea to write to [email protected] if
you're finding behavior that doesn't seem right.
