With BBEdit, the page will always scroll to the next change, and if it
doesn't happen to be in the viewport, you will not see the change
occur.
What is additionally frustrating, is that this even occurs if you have
only moved the cursor to another part of the page, not even making a
change. eg, If I make an edit then move the cursor to a part of the
page
outside the viewport, then undo the change, I am brought back to where
the
change was made. But if I redo, rather than seeing the change go back
in,
I am immediately brought again to where the cursor was before the
undo.
This is also a major BBEdit "papercut" for me. Thank you for
articulating the problem so well! Hopefully Rich & co. will consider
tweaking this behavior.
