I'm happily comfortable with complicated grep replacement expressions in the multi-file find dialog, but Applescript documentation makes my eyes spin in retrograde orbits when I try to find correct syntactic examples.
For a single file, I have no problem with a grep search to select the appropriate insertion point of the frontmost document, and then use the document status dropdown or Edit -> Copy Path menu and paste to insert the current file's path into a comment field, but I need to do so for hundreds of files and my Applescriptfu has MND :-( (apologies to anyone with such a real life malady). Any pointers for examples of this? I can't see anything in the BBEdit Grep documentation for accessing file system variables, so I assume that this will need to be done outside the Multiple file find process.
