It is an ordinaary snapshot of the pump that distributes water+liquid
fertiliser around the garden. But, on the page, only the outline is
visible. I can put any olther image in that place with the same coding and it displays just fine. The original name of the image was ‘fertigation pump’ and I thought perhaps some censorship was happening for an unknown reason. So I tried different names, but that didn’t make any difference.

is that image correct? might there be something wrong with the image file so the web browser can't show it or that the tools can't render the site.

Try opening the image in Preview and save a copy to a new file and try with the new file.
