A micro data center is to Genuity or Exodus as a microbrewery is to
Budweiser. We founded BaseSpace.net in the spring of 2000, and it has
grown to 13 customers and a 5-figure income. We'll talk about what
software and architecture choices we made and why, including network
usage monitoring, accounting & billing, firewall (or lack thereof),
and configuration management. We'll also touch on softer topics like
pricing and market strategy.
