1U (and other size) rack mount rails are usually available at an extra 
charge from most vendors.  These are usually sold as a "rack mount kit". 
 The two vendors I'm most familiar with are Dell (1U & 4U) and Sun (4U 
and one for a V880 - 43U?).  APC also sold their rack mounted UPSs with 
rack mount kits.
