Topic: "What You Need to Learn to Become a Senior Sysadmin"
(or, "How to Get From Here to Where?")
Description:
This talk will cover broad topics like how and why you need to understand
the Unix kernel in order to be a good, senior administrator. Specific
technologies (like DNS and Sendmail) will be mentioned, but the focus is
on theory, background, and general knowledge.
If you're a junior or mid-level sysadmin, come learn what one "geezer
sysadmin" thinks you ought to learn; if you're a senior sysadmin, come
and voice your opinion on the speaker's choices of topics and technologies.
