BLU, the Boston Linux & Unix User Group meets the third Wednesday of the
month. Their talks vary in likely interest level to BBLISA members, but
this month is one that I think many BBLISA members will want to hear.
On Wednesday, September 18th, in MIT 4-70, starting at 7:00 p.m., Tom
Limoncelli will present "Internet Collaboration and System
Administration," in which he will discuss what it was like to write a
book with a co-author you don't really know, and who lived one ocean and
five timezones away.
Tom is an excellent speaker, and is one of the most knowledgable
sysadmins I know. His book (with Dublin-based co-author Christine Hogan)
is probably the best book on system administration on the market today.
I strongly encourage BBLISA members to attend the meeting.
