Hey folks,

Well I must say, I have never had a worse experience in my entire career as a network administrator than with our current high-speed solution provider, DSL.net. Their tech support has been shady at best, their account managers never return phone calls, and their promised 99.9% of uptime on T1 and SDSL services is laughable (try like 84%, which is what we are averaging now)... and they blame Covad for virtually everything. Just letting you guys know the back story in case you ever have the misfortune of dealing with these folks. Needless to say, I am about ready to break contract.

Anyways, the question now becomes, who next? We would very much like to keep the same provider in both our Boston and Providence offices... one requires a T1 level of service... the other, a 384k (or so) SDSL line (or equivelent). Any particular companies you folks have had luck with? Anyone you think I should definately stay away from? DSL.net looked extremely promising on paper... so at this point I am looking for any help I can get... job on the line and all that.

Thanks,

Jake W Paris
