I ran into a similar problem, my solution was to use a masquerade
exception file to list the domain(s) I did _NOT_ want to have overwritten
by the masquerade rules.
Add MASQUERADE_EXCEPTION_FILE(`/etc/mail/masq_exceptions') to your .mc
file or F{N}/etc/mail/masq_exceptions to your .cf file, and then put
otherdomain.com in /etc/mail/masq_exceptions
