Hi, there,

I have a trouble with virtual domain support in
sendmail. My experience with sendmail is limited,
I hope somebody can advise something.

Here is a sutiation:

I want my mailserver to send and receive a mail
for two domains. Let's name them mydomin.com and
otherdomain.com. I have read a FAQ on sendmail.org
and now I can receive a mail addressed to both
domians and I can send email from both domains.
My problem is in minor detail: it looks like that
sendmail rewrites From: filed in a header. I
know it should no do it, but it does. All mail is
coming out with mydomin.com, even if I send it
from otherdomain.com MUA.

My MUA is squirrelmail. It has an option to
specify dominanname for From: field, and it is set
correctly. In the logs I can see, that message is
being submitted by squirrelmail with correct
domain. mydomain.com goes out as mydomain.com, and
otherdomain.com goes out as mydomain.com.

I really would like to stop it from happening, I
have a "business reason" :-)

My setup:

I have set the following in sendmail.cf

C{G}master.mydomin.com mydomin.com
DMmydomin.com
Cwmaster.mydomin.com mydomin.com otherdomain.com

And I also have both mydomain.com and
otherdomain.com mentioned in
/etc/mail/relay-domains.

And my sendmail is:
Sendmail 8.12.3/8.12.3/SuSE Linux 0.6
It is patched.

I am not sure about should I use virtusertable,
but it is for outgoing mail, isn't it?

I wonder if anybody can advise something, because
I just ran out of ideas. Any help will be very
much appreciated.
