You can get a nice Soltek SL-NV400-L64 motherboard for $76, an Athlon XP 2500+ CPU for $90, a Kingston 512MB stick of PC2700 ram for $85, and a Fortron ATX350GU power supply for $26. That brings the total cost to $277 to have a nice, fast computer with plenty of ram. (All of these prices include shipping from Newegg.com.) You might also need a new video card, in which case, I suggest a Transcend ATI Radeon 7000 for $35. Alternatively, you might be able to make do with your old clunker and a PCI IDE conroller (Promise allegedly makes good ones for about $20). |>oug --- Send mail for the `bblisa' mailing list to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'.
