I've got a pair of domains with godaddy.com. The domain price per domain is fairly inexpensive and I like the online DNS management webapp. I'd recommend them for those reasons alone. I do think the menu system needs a major redesign. Sometimes I'll go 6 months without making a change and I can't remember how to get back to the DNS management, it's that confusing. However, it's much easier than having to pick up the phone and wait 48 hours for DNS changes.
I also have several domains registered with godaddy and have been happy with their service. The website is terrible but they're cheap and get the job done. The ability to have full control over DNS records is a nice plus. If you do decide to go with them I would recommend two things 1) The site is up-sell hell so it will save you time if you decide what level of service you want before you start the process, e.g. Do you just want name registration or do you want them to host a web site too? 2) While I don't blame this on godaddy, whatever email address you register with will most likely be harvested by a spammer. You may want to set up a separate email account for this. - Paul Beltrani _______________________________________________ bblisa mailing list [email protected] http://www.bblisa.org/mailman/listinfo/bblisa
