Indeed, I guess I'm in for some fun. Unfortunately the button (and the
volume control buttons) don't generate an ACPI event. Or, at least there
is nothing in the acpid log file. Or, perhaps acpid is filtering the
events. It can't be that hard if ordinary device driver developers do it.

Hmm. That sentence is much less believable when you say "device driver
developer" instead of "people".

So, the adventure begins... I'm scared, dave.
