Well, this sounds like a great thing for anyone doing wireless card R&D.
Development tools are always so expensive.

I also wondered whether the behavior may be specific to the cards. It's
probably very nearly a single-chip system, so I suppose I'm just being
paranoid, and the expresscard, mini-card, and (theoretical) full-sized
pci-e versions should all behave identically.

Is there a mini-express-to-pci-express adapter? (Let me guess: they
exist, but they're even more expensive...)
