Yes, the signal from the 4318 is weaker than from the 4311. The maximum rate I achieve from my 4311 is 15 Mbs, whereas my 4318 maxes out at about 8 Mbs. Once I get the 4306/2 cards working, I will be looking at the 4318 problem.
