Should I wait until the next kernel-version? Or should I build my own bcm43xx_mac80211-module? May I delete the bcm43xx_mac80211.ko, which came with rpm from f7d and replace this with the newer ones from tree? > > cu Floh > > PS: With the newer version of bcm43xx there is no need to 'modprobe > bcm43xx' > > (I mean 'bcm43xx' not 'bcm43xx_mac80211'), am I right? > > Yes. So why is there bcm43xx? Or is this module for older firmware (3.x)? If yes, then I could use bcm43xx instead (with previously used firmware) until Fedora applied the needed patches? > > PS2: I've tried with Windows-Vista-driver for broadcom-chip, but > > unfortunatelly it's too new for fwcutter. :( > > Your firmware is not the problem and should be OK.
