I know this may not be the proper place for this request but the support forum is timing out.
I have a new laptop with the Broadcom Corporation Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-PCI Card rev 02 card in it an nothing seems to be working. I have tried to use the ndiswrapper and the computer locks up when using wireless. So I have tried to go to the firmware version but I can't get it to scan for networks. When I install the firmware I can get the light to come on when using modprobe bcm43xx but it will not scan. I noticed in the list of supported cards it includes rev 01 for this card. Is there anything I can do to get someone to help me get this card working and/or help with testing or anything else? I would just like it to work without locking up my computer. I am a developer but have never written drivers but will do anything I can to get this working if someone is willing to put up with my driver inexperience.
