Yes I remember, do you know in what circumstances this happens for you? What 
distro are you using, and are you using a networkmanager?
I can poweroff my system properly if I don't attempt to unload the b43 module 
first.

I'm trying to track down where this happens, but I'm not that good, it may 
take some time.
