I am facing the same issue.

dmesg | grep bcm

I have used b43 to extract the firmware. Now I don't know what to do
next. My card works fine with Vista.
The new b43 fw-cutter works only with the binaries that are supplied by
openwrt. I tried to use bcmwl6.sys that came with the pre installed
vista, but it didn't work. I am using kernel 2.6.22.2

I really need an advice about how to get this to work, as it's really
frustrating.

Thank you.
