The problem is with authentication. The interface is actively 
scanning, thus transmit is working. It is also receiving the beacons 
from 4 different AP's, thus that part is also working. Is your AP 
using WPA-PSK encryption? I see wpa_supplicant trying to use WPA to 
authenticate, but it never gets into the 4-way handshake. Please check 
your /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf for correctness.

Is it possible for you to use NetworkManager to control your network 
interfaces? If so, please try it that way. NM should set up the 
control file correctly.

If you cannot use NM, is it possible to turn off encryption for a 
short time to see if the interface will connect in that case?
