Hi everyone,

I am new to this list, so please be gentle :-) I am also no kernel developer.

My problem is the following:
even though I have extracted the firmware for the bcm from a file from
the inet (wl_apasta.o or so) to /lib/firmware and the module loads
without any errors when I do a modprobe b43, ifconfig -a does not show
any new interface...
I think the problem lies with the PCIID of my wireless chip.
Here is the output of lspci -nnv concerning the Broadcome BCM43xx chip.
0b:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4328
802.11a/b/g/n [14e4:4328] (rev 05)
Subsystem: Apple Computer Inc. Unknown device [106b:008c]
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16
        Memory at 97300000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 3
Capabilities: [58] Vendor Specific Information <?>
Capabilities: [e8] Message Signalled Interrupts: Mask- 64bit+ Queue=0/0
Enable-
Capabilities: [d0] Express Endpoint, MSI 00
        Kernel driver in use: b43-pci-bridge
        Kernel modules: ssb

I am willing to give any other needed information and help with
testing some patches.

Cheers
