In the .config file you sent me I realize your RFKILL button is not
enabled to work with the b43 driver.

In order to work with it, I recommend you enable the following setting
in the 2.6.30 kernel configuration program (make menuconfig, make
gconfig, etc):

-> Device Drivers
    -> Input device support
        -> Generic input layer (needed for keyboard, mouse, ...)
            -> Polled input device skeleton

You can read about the B43_RFKILL symbol in
drivers/net/wireless/b43/Kconfig:104. In order to check tat B43_RFKILL
is enabled, you can use

grep B43_RFKILL /boot/config

Also, please send me your /etc/network/interfaces (without your
passwords). Thanks.
