Don't matter, I just bought a couple of 4312 rev1 from the sellers you pointed out (just in case one adapter was broken...) I think having the hardware is mandatory because we are now doing stress testing using a number of 4318s and also several linksys WRT54GL and we can never observe a crash. After the last improvement the boards get never halted. So there should be something that must be handled differently on 4312/001. We will discover...
