Why not FC4?

FC1 was my previous Linux distro.

My HDD interface is IDE.

And yes, the "drive geometry" bug was in FC2.

What is your suggestion regarding choosing the distro at this point?
As I have already told you, FC1 was my previous installation, and something
must have been garbled in between.

PS: Thee was also an "Invalid signature"error in the sequence of error
