If I understood your question correctly, then you are asking the "name" 
of the filesystem being used by pcbsd. Well, as is obvious from their 
site (http://www.pcbsd.org/), it is "Based on rock-solid FreeBSD" -- so 
definitely it uses UFS or FFS by default. I have never used pcbsd, so I 
cannot vouch for their present status. UFS had been the de-facto for 
FreeBSD over the years, but recently they have introduced FastFileSystem 
(FFS) -- so pcBSD could be using either of them.
