Hi Mr. Salahuddin ,
Thanks for your mail,
but my problem no in wvdial,

Case 1 : in Enterprise linux 4
When I plug in my modem then syslog shows me like this

(Here I tried several times)

May 17 21:20:22 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: new full
speed USB device using address 2
May 17 21:22:52 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: USB
disconnect, address 2
May 17 21:23:06 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: new full
speed USB device using address 3
May 17 21:33:52 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: USB
disconnect, address 3
May 17 21:34:33 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: new full
speed USB device using address 4
May 17 21:47:37 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: USB
disconnect, address 4
May 17 21:48:01 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: new full
speed USB device using address 5
May 17 21:51:55 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: USB
disconnect, address 5
May 17 21:53:07 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: new full
speed USB device using address 6
May 17 21:56:53 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: USB
disconnect, address 6

But no found extra file in /dev/

CASE 2: in Fedora 5
log file same as previous
but found an extra file in /dev/bus/usb/001/003
or next time 004 and 005 so on.

when I use in this address in wvdialconf file the it
does not work,
I tried find some help from internet. here is same
case
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=1575239&postcount=1

he tried in ubuntu system BUT I am in frdora 5.

however have you any idea about /dev/bus/usb/001/003 ?

Extra information that I am using GPRS modem
(mobidata) which is working fine in windows,

Thanks,
IQBAL
