Couldn't help adding:

If you consider M$ to be the enemy,do u think Apple to be friend?

Did you notice they have an OS to compete in the market. Do u think
they will love to see Linux rise and let Mac OS die.

Aren't hey locking user iTunes that runs brilliant with MAC, sucks in
Windows and not even runs in Linux.

Why are the not opening up their source code?

Why is iPhone development platform is not available to world.

Aren't they sleeping with enemy with promoting MS Office version of Mac.

Did you ever notice that they have smooth interoperability with
Windows where as all the MS protocols are propitiatory? So they have
patent pact with M$.

Did you hear about the rumor about M$ owning a big share in Apple (yes
, apple needed the money when they were going down) ;)

So, M$ we hate, Apple is not coming out to be friend, Sun is revamping
its own OS solaris for server and desktop market, IBM is a desperate
hardware seller who will sell anything that can be sold be it their
own OS, Linux or windows.

Google with all its money, goodwill and good works hasn't any move to
pour money into a distro (like Mark did for ubuntu) and make a hell of
a Linux OS out of it.

Novell has made SuSE (Enterprise + Desktop), which I just love, but
are in patent pact with MS. And at the same time they are one of the
official supporter of KDE4 (which I think will be the "One desktop to
rule them all").

RedHat is just playing it to spice up the bargain. M$ will slay them
eventually.

Then who is our enemy and who is our friend?

Its all business man. Its like politics. You never just *hate*. You
love or hate based on the situation. :P

And, god forbid, what happens to they day, when MS moves to support
growth of Linux. U say I am crazy?

Its already happening. They are making interoperability better
(whatever its cost it to OSS). which will lead to better Linux adoption.

.NET platform porting (Mono project) is not resisted by MS for any
type of patent violation.

Don't you see, if we make an OS on top of which they can sell their
product and service, they will be free from the cost of developing an
OS that is inferior than what is available freely in the market?

So if you wanted Linux to win over Windows, it already happened. M$
knows it can't kill it. Linux desktop is on the rise, so better use it
rather than kill it. And since Linux own the server room - lets get
the foot into that room by playing interoperability nicely
