Honorable members,
     I have no other way but to resort to all the fellow members asking them 
what they think about the kind and quality of service our net providers are 
giving us, wish there was a place where one can get a help and support for the 
consumers, we consumers are always the enemy. The recent experience with the 
dial up service of Proshikanet has been the most magnificent!!! Not having the 
usual card the shop keeper from Dhaka new market insisted on the quality of 
their service (guess they get higher percentage). First, facing difficulty to 
register I call them at around 9.30 pm (the service was for night which starts 
from 9 onwards) but finding no one picking up the phone, lot for the first 
impression!!! Then when failed trying numerous times I went ahead with the 
registration by myself which was far from user friendly - not the worst!!! The 
best part, when ever you try to connect the message comes the phone line is 
busy and for how long??? no limits, maybe 2 hours to 3 hours
 or never, now when you call them its rare they pick up the phone and if they 
accidentally do, one fellow told me we don’t have the means to provide the 
service, sir you have to understand!!!! OUR ISP HAS NO MEANS TO PROVIDE THE 
SERVICE!!! Then why on earth are you there!!!??? The recent experience with 
another service provider Onet was more or less the same, never connects. One 
fellow from Proshikanet even asked me my password!! I wonder why they need 
it??? In addition to that when I went to their website there were no options 
for me to change the password.
  To cut the story short or not to make it not any longer I leave the id and 
the password of the wonderful Proshikanet for all the members to judge them 
selves. Id - arham00 , password – handsome1 (almost most of the month is left 
and the service is night cruiser which stretches from 9 PM to 8 Am) their 
access code is 0101330 and for customer care call 8012717 Ext 123 , 132 and 
01556363712 and please judge for yourself on what should be done for these 
types of service (Pain) providers in absence of any accountability???
    I think punter has the power no matter how lax our system is, the companies 
should be brought to an understanding that they cannot not get away with this 
kind of attitude with the people and is an act of violation of consumer rights 
which they so much ignore.
