Yeah hair is a real good trigger: chthonic, potent (or seen as loss of
potency in this case of baldness by our culture, except for the fringe
factor who find baldness sexy and daring or in your face) and hair is deeply
magical as well as a source & depository of vanity, feelings of
inferiority/superiority, ageism, hatred, religious fanaticism, repression
(hair which must be covered ie: wigs or veils). Hair has been fettishized
forever and is a source of projection (Freudian) and protection.

I recently was discussing a technique a visiting healer used to help people
access soul issues that needed to be healed by placing hands on the head and
neck, and a therapist I was speaking with, who also attended the same
demonstration was quite cynical about this procedure, stating that anyone
can elicit stuff from people if they touch their heads, "why do you think
everyone tells everything to their hairdresser?" they asked me...

So, it seems to me, that even discussions about hair can send signals,
create emotional responses and in general be a trigger for much repressed
sexuality, cultural standards, economic indicators, etc.

And as for money, well we know how high a regard and how fettishized that is
in our culture. However, just for the record, I certainly don't disparage
anyone creating material wealth for themselves through bd work. We do live
in a market economy. I simply found the advert tickling my funny bone.

Glen Atkinson has been making homeopathic versions of the preps for human
consumption for a while now. Maybe he can speak to this idea of preps to
grow hair. In the meantime, the image of a balding, hair thinned person with
little fine hairs suddenly growing like an early crop of spring grass is a
not very nice image first thing in the morning. Give me a bald man anytime.

And btw, based on the pharmaceutical industry ads, you should be targeting
baby boomer females too with your hairspray, Greg...

Just a marketing thought,
JS

Yeah, alot of BDNower's love to ride the high horse
and claim their BD piety - bold, selfless healers of
the earth, bursting with cosmic love for all (unless
you sell hair tonics) and immune to the need for
money. Chill out. Non-chemically resoring life to
the hairline is a hell of a step forward. And if he
makes a ton, maybe he can underwrite some real
alternative Ag research.
