-- Papers Sought on Alternatives to Globalization -- The TAA (There Are Alternatives to Globalization) Project is seeking submissions of papers that provide detailed, first-hand discussion of one or more projects which create useful, productive resources without reliance on international markets, financing or advice. Essays must be in English and be targeted to people who use English as a second language. Essays should use simple language and provide detailed instructions on how to reproduce the project in another location. Papers are due March 3, 2002. Five winning papers will receive a cash prize of $100 each.
