Gauss readings of soil

Dear Allan, I just got an E-mail from Lloyd Charles concerning some soil samples that he took at our place during the last workshop. The technician who tested the soil could not believe that the readings that he was getting started off at 3500 gauss and just went up from there. Anyone got any better soil out there. James
