Using the horn manure remedy out of proportion to other remedies and good farming practices has caused phosphorus depletion. It happened to me in the 1960's The Horn manure activates the mychorrizal fungii which can access soil and clay particles. My partner Gill, who is studying her masters at Massey agrees with Frank that there has been a lot of work done on this Question. Cheers. Peter.
