The meat is not fatty like the usual beef breeds. Ours were left to range all year, fed hay in the winter, never had a bit of grain, and NEVER any antibiotics. I still say the beef was better than any I've ever bought and I knew what went into the meat. There are people who will pay well for knowing. Bonnie
