japanese beetles

 Yesterday someone recommended placing blue or yellow barrels of water around 
the farm to attract and drown beetles.  Today I looked in a blue barrel of 
rainwater and saw it loaded with drowned beetles.  They avoided the nettles 
tea and were in the real old manure tea.  They were highly attracted to the 
water though.  Great tip, will work with this one for a bit...  SStorch
