>Agreeing with another point you made, Allan, although pollen sensitivity >(also mentioned by Sharon, thank you for your input) only recently developed >as one result of the original serious chemical injury to the body's >detoxification system, such an ALLERGY offshoot of the CHEMICAL INJURY >initiating process (2 different animals), also does (or can) detract from a >person's work reliability (although the effects of *allergy* can -- unlike >chemical injury -- be medicated away to some extent -- with, e.g., >antihistamines).
Lily - As long as you don't get too Old Testament about it, I see no need to relegate MCS discussion to the back channel because they are related to our discussion here. I also firmly believe that if more MCS people understood what low toxin/high vitality foods like biodynamic produce had to offer them there would be stronger markets for biodynamically grown foods. I just wanted to make a clarification point on your paragraph above. The assertion is not that MCS reaction to pollen is 'allergenic.' The assertion is that many MCS people are incapable of routing proteins correctly in their bodies . As a result receptor cites receive erroneous inputs and the body performs in a hurdy-gurdy manners, much to the discomfort of its owner. Pollen is protein and can illict these erroneous responses. I used to be disable for about 2 months a year due to tree pollen and yet I have no measureable 'allergies' on any of the many tests that I took. Slip on a simple mask (and maybe take a nap!) and WALLA! the symptoms would recede. I can only speak for myself, but the moment that I realized that MCS was a problm within myself and not necessarily a problem with the world and that I had to take care of myself and not try to force other people to look out for me (NO ONE WITH THOSE CHEAP FAKE COLOGNES ALLOWED IN HERE BECAUSE IT MAKES ME SICK), I started to heal. I'm not better now - - When I drive my car across country, I still have to park and sleep for 30 minutes several times a day - - but sure get a hell of a lot more done. Blessings -Allan
