When the Agricultural lectures were given
medical lectures had been in progress for a number of years. The medical
preparations or remedies were alloted numbers as well as names. When
agricultural formulae were given it was agreed to leave 499 for medical use
and start the agricultural numbering at 500. The numbers therefore indicate
the order the recipies were given. The Agricultural Lectures, June 1924,
gives these recipies. what you read on the list is a range of experiences we
have with their use.
I hope this helps to explain some of the mystry round the numbers.
