Liz, have you contacted Greening Australia?   In our area (Hunter) they do quite
a lot of work and papers, should have some leads for you.    Also I suggest that
you contact David Dumaresq at ANU - has done some interesting work on soil life
and organics, etc.   I came across him because he advises a BD farmer down
south.
