Thank you Jane, In my region, it is also the time to celebrate the cosmos and its plant crop harvests. A typical Quebecois tradition is that local people come together for a huge food gathering. This is to thank God for our crops. Out here we use Corn, amongst others.
Anyway, soon I will be having an 'epluchette de ble d'inde' (peeling of the corns). This is a corn boiling festival, with salt, butter, and lots of beer. Every participant must peel and put corn in a boiling water tub and eat, drink, dance, and celebrate the coming of the new season. So then, Everyone... what ever your tradition... Please have a happy crop, Robin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane Sherry" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "BdNow" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: September 22, 2002 4:11 PM Subject: Equinox Greetings > Greetings all, > Wishing you Balance, Love, Peace and Light in this time of the waning of the > Light.
