Keep your anti-virus software updated, do it every few days. Delete any messages you receive which seem funny to you, or are from people you know but the address seems odd. Don't open any attachments - it is opening the attachments that does the harm, not opening the emails they are attached to - unless you are absolutely sure of them or are expecting them. In either case, you can always send a message to the sender and ask if the attachment is OK; if your outgoing message bounces, it probably isn't. Also if a message takes a long time to download but is only a few lines long when you open it, delete it. Just be careful, remember there are some strange people out there in cyberspace who enjoy nothing better than causing computer misfortune to others. roger > > >>All: I think I have tracked down the computer with the virus and trying to >>contact the person concerned.
