Exactly. This is why there needs to be conviction in the heart of the consumer to know why they want local food that is grown in a way that's good for the environment, that's good for the local economy, and that's good for the well-being of the local farmer! Lessons to be leearned from history, and I like the herbal story. Much the same is happenign with organic now. Who knows where it will lead...???
