Commencing Monday July 7 2003 an exclusion project for serrated tussock, african lovegrass and rabbits will come into operation in the Dalgety area of NSW.
The exclusion zone is a 4 kilometre radius circle centred 0.75 kms north-north-west of the confluence of Wullwye Creek and the Snowy River, Dalgety NSW.
Exclusion will be by natural earth healing methods.
Primary project objectives are:
Elimination of these plants within the zone by 7 July 2006 with a significant reduction (60%) in the first year.
Reduction of the rabbit population to a level commensurate with the twin requirements of ongoing sustainability of the natural food chain and the improvement of crop and pasture yields.
Bases for exclusion (plants):
1. The presence of these plants ensures the continual chemical
destruction of microbial and other life in the living organism known by
the generic term 'soil'. ('Presence' in this context includes seeds in
the seedbed.)2. The soil cannot recover from past chemical abuses or protect itself against future damage whilst under constant attack by chemical sprays and so will continue to deteriorate.
3. Exclusion using natural earth healing methods will break the cycle, removing the chemical threat and enabling the soil to recover its health and vigour.
Basis for limited exclusion (rabbits): The existence of excessive rabbit populations lead to a constant threat of the application of chemical and biological 'controls' which when applied damage soils and disrupt the food chain.
This project also includes trials of variants of the Pytronic Natural Energies Generator (under development) which has produced preliminary test results indicating potentials for rainmaking and the field broadcasting of non-chemical substances.
Project Coordinator is Acacia Rockwell (Natural Earth Healer Level III)
Quarterly and other reports of progress will be issued.
Project Partners include: The Blue Feather Group Earthcare Environmental Solutions, Queanbeyan NSW Australia Hedley & Hedley Pty Ltd, Running Stream NSW Natural Science Organics, Water Mill, New York 11976 USA Levenkunst Trade Co, Dalgety NSW
This project is privately funded. Individuals and organisation wishing
to receive project documentation and/or be kept informed of progress are
invited to contribute up to $AUD100 or equivalent towards project costs (cheque or
money order payable to Earthcare Environmental). Receipts and/or tax
invoices will be issued as appropriate.
