Hi! Jagged Arrays are, by nature, single dimensioned. Keeping this in mind, you can
easily co-relate them to any double pointer data type. Here's an example:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#define JA_DIMENSION 2
void main(void)
{
int **ja;
ja = (int **)malloc(sizeof(int)*JA_DIMENSION);
ja[0] = (int *)malloc(sizeof(int)*2);
ja[1] = (int *)malloc(sizeof(int)*3);
ja[0][0]=1;
ja[0][1]=1;
ja[1][0]=1;
ja[1][1]=1;
ja[1][2]=1;
printf("%d %d\n",ja[0][0],ja[0][1]);
printf("%d %d %d\n",ja[1][0],ja[1][1],ja[1][2]);
}
See the attached VC++ 7 project that exemplifies it.
