Simillarly check out if the stored procedures using cursors etc are written well with proper exit conditions Have a suggestion stop and restart the SQL server keep the Windows task manager running and then run the SQL server profiler. The instant SQL server occupies more than 95% of memory (as indicated by the task manager) stop the Profiler to find out the culprit.
